While playing this awesome little game, I wondered how many kilograms of rice we actually donate. I mean, it would be a bit lame if they’d only be able to feed like 10 people. Of course every small bit helps, but it would still be lame.
So I googled it and here we go:
1 kg of rice = 50 000 grains
1 person each year = 7 500 000 grains
1 person each day = 20 547 grains

Yesterday 122 377 240 grains were donated, which means almost 6000 people that day. Or if you calculate it for a year, we’ve supplied 16 people with a year’s worth of rice.
The total donation so far is somewhere around 1.2 billion grains of rice. This is similar to 58402 people fed for one day. By year it’s about 160 people.
This is quite nice already, but we need to donate way more, so come on! Play the game, improve your vocab and help the poor!
